Yecoo board always focus on quality all terrain skateboard to provided a comfortable riding experience for electric skateboard enthusiast. The GT has been encountered many times test and upgraded from battery to ESC.
At the beginning, GT's battery is only at the pass level of the skateboard battery, the unknown brand of 6.0Ah battery. Is the power supply stable and the battery life is enough? All of those questions are unknown. However, after many times upgrading, the GT use unique 10S5P Samsung battery that made the battery capacity up to 15Ah. That is just one point in the changes.

New Package
The package of Yecoo GT is much better than before. The original packaging simply protected the four wheels with foam. There are also two small boxes, one for the PU wheel and the other for the remote, charger and T-tool. That box “packaging” everything of the skateboard. After the upgrading, Yecoo tailored clothes for GT，wrapping the skateboard with pearl cotton, and a special grid for the remote control, charger and T-tool in the shell.
New Deck
The size and shape of the deck have not changed. the size is 12.2 in (W), 38 in (L), 7.08 in (H). the material of deck is Canadian Maple that is moderately strong, exquisite. The painting of the deck still has a spider theme but looks more concise and comfortable.
Wheels System
Being a 2 in 1 skateboard, the wheels play a vitally important role. GT has 2 sets of wheel systems: the 6-inch off road wheel and 83mm PU wheel. The off road wheel also name as honeycomb wheel that is is made of non-inflatable silicone tires, and do not worry about puncture and repair. It’s big and heavy but elastic, and has excellent performance in rough road. The PU wheel is specially used in flat road to extend the life of the skateboard wheels. It can be easily switch between 2 systems with simply tool.
Stronger Motor
The motor is driven by belt. The pair of 1000W 5065 external motors provide a strong power for the skateboard.
Truck
For the trucks, they use a barrel and a cone bushing. This configuration is actually very controversial because cone bushing makes the truck softer and unstable. But the flexibility has increased. Only one thing should be know is adjust the tighten of the truck according to personal weight to control the stability.
Battery
Yecoo GT provide 2 type of Samsung battery: 11Ah and 15Ah, and both of them are 10S5P.
Conclusion
Basically, all of those basic specs and hardware looks not bad. Unique wheels system and battery setup, balancing stability and flexibility for the strong truck. However, it should be noted that the electric skateboard’s weight up to 23.8 lbs(10.8kg) because the battery is larger than common skateboard. It maybe the reason that GT’s range is further than before.
